"SPACE -BIKE"

Always wanted to make one. Always had tons of parts, but knew I had to do it from scratch. One day I figured after attempting to work with styrene before, I had to find a cheaper and easier way to manufacture my own designs. So I just said "screw it..." and cut up the left over bubbles from action figures I've bought new and cut into sheets that I could trace.

First I sketched a design to scale.

Then I measured and drafted a template on a piece of hard card stock. Cutting out the shapes I can now trace and reproduce the design in 3D as many times as I would like. Since the plastic I use is thin, I have to trace many to super glue together in layers (about 5x). Together these pieces are light and hard as a rock.
